LIBA Signs MoU with M/s Color Carpenter for Programmes on Media Management

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s Color Carpenter, a registered firm headed by actor Mr. John Vijay to offer programmes on media management.
The MOU was signed by Rev. Fr. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA and by Mr. John Vijay, Managing Director, M/s Color Carpenter.
Other important dignitaries at the occasion were Prof. P. C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean – Academics, Prof. M J Xavier Chair, Centre For Technology & Innovation (CTI), Dr. Sunil Vakayil Chair, Management Development Centre (MDC), Dr. A. Siluvairaja, Chair, Admissions and C.K.Prahalad Centre For Emerging India (CKPC).
LIBA will offer one year part-time Executive Diploma in Media Management which will train participants for jobs in Social Media Management, Sports Management, Print Management, Event Man agement, Celebrity Management and Television & Radio Mana ge ment. This programme can be taken up by graduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in Media Management and also by those who are already employed in media houses and seek ca reer growth and horizontal movements to media segments of their interest.
The curriculum for this programme would be co-created by experts from LIBA and M/s Color Carpenter. The participants would be co-taught by faculty from LIBA and practitioners from M/s Color Carpenter. LIBA and M/s Color Carpenter will collaborate to have students placed in various organization related to media management.LIBA’s highly acclaimed programmes in management continue to offer the best education to students inculcating in them ‘Excellence with Ethics’ – LIBA’s motto. LIBA looks at business education differently, not just informing knowledge, but forming the character of students.
