In 1962, it was started by the Central Government under the name of ‘Reimbursement of tu ition fees’, which was later called the Children’s Education Allowance. This allowance was further increased un der the 7th Pay Commission and it was approved to give Rs. 2250 to Children’s Education Allowance per year to government employees. According to the rule, the Central employees get this benefit on two children, but such people can also get this benefit on three children, whose child was born as a result of the failure of the sterilization operation.

However, only one child born after sterilization fails, is included in this scheme and if the child is born even after that, it will not get this benefit. Let us know that this allowance is available only for children up to 12th standard.
