Story-;
Kadir, the hero of the story, belongs to a large zamindar family. His younger sister Manjakani, who is crying, is always at loggerheads, the hero Kathir is a Kamal fan and his grandfather is a Rajini fan. One day, on the day of the release of Kamal’s Sakalakala Vallavan, Kathir’s grandfather dies, leaving Kathir to leave the celeb ration and go home.Kadir’s sister’s daughter Devi will come home.
When she sees Devi, Kadir falls in love. Kadir’s younger sister Manjakani challenges Kadir. During her grand father’s funeral, Devi will come to you and say I love you. If you say that, she will shave your head. If Kadir loses a job, she will wear a scarf for 3 months. This is the competition between them, what is the reason for the sudden death of the grandfather and who wins this competition is the rest of the story of the film…

Santhanam became a huge Kamal fan in the 80s. His grandfather Sundarrajan belonged to a large zamindar family in his family. Mansoor Ali Khan, Manobala, Mottai Rajendran gang hatch a master plan to steal the fa mily’s heirloom knife.On the other hand, when he comes to steal the knife, Santhanam Datta (Sundarrajan) swallows the diamond stones thinking they are stones and dies. Following this, the gang is waiting for an opportunity to steal the diamonds belonging to the deceased grandfather Santhanam (Sundarrajan). All this is on one side, on the other side…the story of the rest of the film is whether Santhanam’s sister will make a bed to see if Radhika, who comes as her own, will be able to make a bed….or not….
If Santhanam film is a comedy, a separate army of fans will go to the theatres, here there is a separate army for comedy, but it raises the question why. If the first half is ok, the gap is a bit ok to say…the second half h as caused a slump without cargo. Climax is a big bore.By the way, even though Santhanam is carrying the film as a single man, it is not known why the army of comedians featured in the film has gone this way this time. It is in the hands of the director, if the job is done properly everyone would have worked well. Apart fr om that, the director couldn’t make the screenplay much more enjoyable.As usual, he has played the given role maturely without spilling over. Music and songs are okay to an extent.
Some comedies keep you laughing. Mansoor Ali Khan does not know why Mansoor Ali Khan keeps coming and going, just like Audi and Ammavasai. It makes me wonder why there are other characters besides Santh anam. Not even a good comedy, also, some of the film’s Grinch acts and the female (Anandraj) portions do n’t work. Santhanam has teamed up with director Kalayan of ‘Kulepakavali’ fame for ’80s Buildup’ and the fil m hits the big screen on November 24. The trailer of ’80s Buildup’ has been released, which ensures an enjo yable comedy-drama experience for the audience. Reflecting its title, the film is set in the 1980s, with Santha nam portraying a character akin to a devoted Tamil cinema fan of the era.
The 2-minute trailer gives a glimpse into the story of the film. Following the director’s previous success, ’80 s Buildup’ maintains a blend of humor and emotion, cementing a comedy mystery. Santhanam is in the lead to deliver an entertaining film backed by an ensemble of familiar faces.Actor Santhanam, who had been givi ng a series of flops, got a breakthrough in the movie DD Returns which was released last July and became a blockbuster hit. After that, when he was expected to come to the farm, Santhanam shocked the fans by givi ng an utter flop called Kick. 80s Buildup was the film he chose to act to recover from that failure.The film is directed by Kalyan.
He has directed comedy films like Kulepakavali and Jackpot. As he has teamed up with Santhanam for the first time, Kalyan has made this film as a comedy film. Radhika Preethi has acted opposite Santhanam. He is famous for acting in Sun TV serials. In 80’s Buildup movie Santhanam acted with Thangathurai, Anandaraj, Mansoor Alikhan and the biggest comedy team. Produced by Gnanavelraja on behalf of Studio Green, the fil m has been released in theaters today. Santhanam has acted as a fan of 80s hero Kamal Haasan in the film .Director Kalyan and actor Thangadurai, who came to see the first scene of the film, gave an interview to Asi anet Tamil.
Speaking then, Thangadurai said that until now Santhanam was acting in roles that help the love of other her oes. He said that it was a pleasure to play the role of helping Santhanam’s Love in the film.Speaking af ter this, the director of the film Kalyan said that the second part of the film will definitely come.
