75 KM, 75 CYCLISTS CHENNAI CYCLOTHON BY INDIAN ARMY COMMEMORATES 75 YEARS OF INDEPEN DENCE
Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area organised a 75 Km Cyclothon by 75 Cyclists in Chennai on 20 February 20 22 as part of the year long celebration of 75 years of Independence “Azadi Ka Amrit Ma hotsav”. Lt Gen A Arun, YSM, SM, VSM, GOC Dakshin Bharat Area and Dr Sylendra Babu, IPS, DGP Tamil Nadu flagged off the event from the historic Victory War Memorial, Chennai.
The event drew enthusiastic participation by men, women & children from the Services, Police, Civil Admi nistration and Cycling Groups of Chennai. The Cyclothon was co nducted over 75 Km by 75 Cyclists symbolising 75 Years of Indian Independence thus adding a patriotic fervour to the event.
