STORY
An old Anglo-Indian man Richard Walte rs, on his death bed, realises that he has never acknowledged both sides of his mi xed heritage, only the British male line while looking down and being ashamed of his Indian connections and ancestry.
As he lies dying on the last day of his lon g life, he decides to make amends and to attain inner peace by apologising to his grandson’s Indian wife Shanthi, on beha lf of all Indians for his racist behaviour. However, not all of his family are happy with his decision which ignites conflict between the two brothers. Peter lives in Chennai, Freddy in Melbourne, who left India as part of the Anglo-Indian diaspor a, who has returned to farewell Richard; his estranged father. Prejudices, jealou s ness and disparities surface and add con nfusion to Richards last minuet attempt to make good.
