Movie Review -:
Director Dhanush has once again given a great film to Tamil cinema. Although there are some lapses in some places, they do not spoil the film much. Director Dhanush has made each character enjoyable and appealing to the youth of this era. If there is a character that has impressed everyone beyond the hero and heroine, it is the character of Rajesh played by Matthew Thomas. He acts as the hero’s life friend and reminds us of our life friend. Another level of performance in the comedy scenes. The experienced performances of Sarathkumar, Saranya Ponvannan, and Aadukalam Naren are the strength of the film. Even though Dhanush has identified the film as a conventional love story, it seemed like a slightly different love story. However, as the comedy scenes were a work-out, the actors’ performances in the emotional scenes did not touch the heart much. This is a minus for the film. Otherwise, there is nothing to say wrong with the film. G.V. Prakash’s background music and songs rocked the theater. Especially the emotional scenes were saved by G.V. Prakash’s background music. Similarly, his cameo in the film was also excellent. Priyanka Mohan’s dance is special. We have seen Anika, Mathew Thomas, and Priya Warrier on screen before. But, Bhavish, Raffia Kathoon, Venkatesh Menon, and Ramya Ranganathan have given their best in their debut film. Kudos to them.
The cinematography is the strength of the film. The cinematography and art direction have shown the songs, scenes beautifully. Plus points The actors’ performances Dhanush’s direction, screenplay Background music, songs Comedy scenes Climax Minus points Emotional scenes that do not touch the heart Overall, I am angry with the moon, watch the film and go away..
