Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions Makes E xplosive Malayalam Debut with Mohan nlal’s High-Octane Action Thriller “L2: E mpuraan”; Teaser Out Now*
Lyca Productions, one of South India’s le ading production houses, is set to make its entry into the Malayalam film industr y with the highly anticipated project, L2 E Empuraan.
Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the fi lm stars “The Complete Actor” Mohanla al in the lead role, marking their hat-tric k third collaboration as director and act or after the super successful films, Lucif er and Bro Daddy.
As the second instalment of the trilogy t hat began with the 2019 blockbuster Lu cifer, L2E Empuraan promises to deliver an epic cinematic experience. The tease er launch was held in Kochi today and w as graced by the presence of Megastar Mammootty as the chief guest, the film s principal cast and crew, and other pro minent personalities.
The teaser sets the stage in an abandon d town in Northern Iraq named “Qaraqo sh,” introducing the character Steven N edumpally, a saviour with a dark and int riguing side as Ab’raam Qureshi, who le ads the most powerful mercenary hit gr oup in Asia. The film showcases Mohanl al in an action-packed avatar with large r-than-life visuals. The film explores the mes of power, betrayal, and control by b lending elements of the political nexus a nd the world of mercenaries.

For its Malayalam debut, Lyca Productio ns partnered with renowned producer A ntony Perumbavoor’s Aashirwad Cine m as Pvt. Ltd banner and bankrolled this m assive project.
The stellar ensemble cast includes Prith viraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, T ovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iy yappan, Sai Kumar, and Baiju Santosh in pivotal roles.
L2E: Empuraan was written by Murali G opy, with music composed by Deepak D ev and cinematography by Sujith Vaass udev. Suresh Balaje and George Pius ser ved as Executive Producers. Prithviraj P roductions handled the Production Des sign and Mohandas served as the Art Di rector.
