The trailer of the movie ‘Thandel’ starri ng Naga Chaitanya, the leading star acto r of the Telugu film industry, has been re leased. For this, Tamil’s leading star acto r Karthi participated as a special guest a t a special launch ceremony held at a sta r hotel in Chennai and released the trail er.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are playi ng the lead roles in the movie ‘Thandel’, which is being directed by director Sand dhu Mondetti. Prakash Belavadi, Karun akaran, ‘Aadukalam’ Naren, Bablu and o thers are also playing the lead roles. Sha m Dutt Zainuddin has done the cinemat ography for this movie and ‘Rock Star’ D evi Sri Prasad has composed the music f or this movie. This romantic survival dra ma film is produced by producer Bunny Vas under Geetha Arts. It is presented b y Allu Aravind. In Tamil, it is released by producer S. R. Prabhu under Dream War rior Pictures.
The pre-release event of this film, which will be released in theaters worldwide i n Tamil, Telugu and Hindi from the 7th o f this coming February, was held at a sta gy ar hotel in Chennai. The event was at tended by the film’s producer Allu Arav ind, producer S. R. Prabhu, actor Naga C haitanya, actress Sai Pallavi, music comp oser Devi Sri Prasad, actor Karthi, direc tors Karthik Subbaraj – Venkat Prabhu, actors Karunakaran, Aadukalam Naren and many others.
Speaking at the event, producer S. R. Pra bhu said, “What is Thandel? The questio n arises in everyone. In Indian cinema, w e are now crossing the language barrier. The titles of the films that are currently being released seem to appeal to every one. We have become accustomed to th is after ‘Baahubali’. No one has ever que stioned what Baahubali is. Similarly, I ho pe that Thandel will also receive great s upport without anyone asking questions ons. However, we will know from the tra iler that Thandel means leader in this fil m.
It is clear when you watch this film that t hey have made it with dedication. Witho out the pressure of making a pan-Indian film.. they have created a story and mad e this film with the hope that it will reac h the pan-Indian audience. They have w orked hard for this. Director Sandhu u’s previous films are good. They have ta lented star actors like Naga Chaitanya – Sai Pallavi. The love story between them m. I expect it to be interesting because it has a unique background.
Karunakaran mentioned that he has tra veled a lot while narrating. When he wa s talking about the place where the sto ry takes place.. when he saw it in previe ew.. it was interesting. The songs of Roc kstar were also good. My best wishes to the entire film crew.

Fishermen from our village go to the Pakistani border an d get trapped. They go to Gujarat and w hile fishing in a boat, they cross the bord er and get trapped in Pakistan. Then ho w they escape from there is a beautiful love story that this film has been develo ped into.
No matter how big a thriller it is, even if it is Titanic, it needs a love story. That lo ve is what stands out in the mind. The beginning of the film Thandel is whe n Iyakunsr Sandhu met me and told me a small idea of a true incident in a docum entary style. It involves a long journey fr om a village called Srikakulam to Gujara at and then to Pakistan for a year and a half and then back. After hearing that true story, I was surprised as an actor.
After that, I went to Srikakulam and met the fishermen living there and got to kn ow their way of life. That trip was unfor gettable. That experience was also unfo rgettable.
Such an opportunity is very rare. I chan ged myself for this. We have made this b ecause the audience will definitely like s uch a story. The fishermen of Srikakula m are the real heroes of the film.
