The thriller movie “Identity” released la st week, produced by Raju Malliyath an d Confident Group C.J. Roy under the ba nner of Ragam Movies, starring Tovino T homas, Trisha, and Vinay Roy. The movie is not only receiving a good response in Malayalam but also in Tamil.

Akil told the story of this film in 2020. I s aid that whoever comes or whoever doe sn’t, I will do this film. Then Trisha said t hat she was committed. That’s when I u nderstood that this film was a success. I have never had a story like this film in m y career, Tovino is a selective film maker. I thank both Tovino and Akhil for choosi ng me in this film. This film came at a ver y important stage in my life. I enjoyed it very much. ‘I have met you for many Tamil films, and for the first time, I am meeting you for a Malayalam film. Generally, Malayalam fi lms have a good storyline. I have said it many times, I love Malayalam films. The re is a lot of respect. I thought I should d o one Malayalam film a year. At that tim e, this opportunity came. A big thank yo u to the identity team. Very clever scree nplay. I liked it a lot. The way Akhil narra ted the story was wonderful. Tovino is a big hero in Malayalam. I really like the fil ms he chooses. It was a great experience to act with him. Akhil works very seriou sly even though he keeps smiling. I have known Vinay for a long time. This film w as a very, very good experience. While w e were shooting, I was confident that it would be a success. In Malayalam, good characters are always written for wome men. There has been a good response he re since the release date. Now the recep tion we are getting in Tamil is happy,’ he said.
The film Identity, starring Tovino Thoma as and Trisha, was released in theaters t his week on January 2. The film, which h as received a good response from the fa ns, is becoming a huge success at the bo x office. Although it was released in a sm all number of theaters in Tamil Nadu, th e number of theaters has now been incr reased due to the good response to the film. The number of fans visiting the the ater is increasing after the first day.
Actor Vinay Roy also plays an important role in the film. Gokulam Movies has acq uired the all-India distribution rights of Identity and the film is being released th eatrically under the banner of Dream Bi g Films. Fars Films has acquired the GCC distribution rights.
The film is written and directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, with cinematograp hy by Akhil George and editing by Sama n Shacko, and music and background sco re by Jakes Bejoy. Bollywood actress Ma ndira Bedi, Aju Varghese, Shammi Thilak an, Arjun Radhakrishnan, and Vishak Na ir also playing important roles in the fill m. The film is being released in both Tam il and Malayalam languages.
