*Raindropss Charity Foundation’s Annu al “Vaanmae Ellai” Initiative: An Inspirat ional Journey for Less Privileged Childre n and Marginalized Communities*
Chennai, November 2024 – This Childre n’s Day, Raindropss Charity Foundatiion a renowned non-profit organizati on de dicated to social impact and incl usivity, along with Anandam and VGP Ullaga Ta mil Snagam is set to host its annual “Vaa namae Ellai” initiative, a uni que flight tr ip experience designed for 30 children from shelter homes, in cluding Sevalaya NGO, Anandam Edu cation Centre, Ana ndam Special Scho ol, CHES Ananda Ila m, as well as mem bers from marginalize d communities, such as transgender ind ividuals from Thozhi NGO and the visua lly challeng ed.
This year, the journey will commence fr om Chennai Airport on November 1 4th, culminating in Salem, where Dr. Brindh Devi IAS, District Collector of Salem, w ill warmly welcome the child ren at Sale m Airport. This special occa sion celebra tes inclusion, dreams, and possibilities, with esteemed personalities accompany ing the young travelers to make it an unf orgettable journey.
Adding to the inspiration are Dr. Sulta an Ahmed Ismail, a prominent Organic Scientist and Member of the State Plan ning Commission, Music Director and Goodwill Ambassador of Raindropss A .R. Raihanah, Raindropss Founder and Managing Trustee Aravind Jayabal, alo ng with Raindropss trustees and mem bers. Together, they will share this me morable journey with the children, mo tivating them to believe that anything is possible.
Upon arrival in Salem, the group will he ad to Yercaud, where an overnight stay and a visit to several scenic attrac tions await. The itinerary includes Yercaud B oat House, Shervoys Point, Peek u Park, and other attractions, offering the childr en a refreshing and educatio ional outdo or experience. The journey concludes wi th a scenic train ride back to Chennai on November 15th.
The annual “Vaanamae Ellai” initiative is a testament to Raindropss Charity Foun dation’s unwavering commitment to soc ial inclusion and uplifting those in need. This journey will inspire these young he arts to dream big, giving the m em the m essage that boundaries are only as real as they allow them to be.
