TAMILNADU NCC DIRECTORATE FELI CITATES CADETS FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN SHOOTING COMP ETITIONS
The Headquarters NCC Directorate for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andam an & Nicobar Islands proudly celebrated the achievements of its ca dets during a felicitation ceremony h eld on August 5, 2024, at the HQ NCC Directorate in Che nnai. The event ho nored the exemplary performance of 66 cadets and their sup porting staff in recent prestigious comp etitions.
A team of 18 valiant NCC cadets fro m the HQ NCC Directorate participa ted in the Inter-Directorate Shooting Cham pionship (IDSSC) 2024, held at Tri chy fr om July 2 to July 15, 2024. The ca dets displayed remarkable skill, discipline, a nd sportsmanship, securing top positio ns and bringing accolades to the directo rate. Their dedication and rigor ous trai ning were evident as they excel led in va rious shooting disciplines, sett ing high s tandards for their peers.
In addition, 48 cadets represente d the directorate in the 49th Tamil Nadu State Shooting Competition, showcasi ing their prowess and commitment to excellence in shooting sports. The cad ets’ achievements are a testament to t he rigorous training and support prov ided by the NCC and the dedication of the cadets themselves.
The felicitation ceremony was grac ed by senior officers of the NCC, dignita ries, and the proud parents of the cadet s. The Commanding Officer Commodor e S Raghav praised the cadets for t heir hard work and dedication, encour aging them to continue striving for exc ellence in all their endeavors.
