KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION AT CHENNAI MILITARY STATION
On the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Hon’ble Governor o f Tamil Nadu Shri RN Ravi and General Officer Commanding-Dakshin Bharat A rea of Indian Army, Lt Gen Karanbir Si ngh Brar laid wreaths at the Victory M emorial, Chennai today and paid hom age to the brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty
Senior most officials from the tri-servi ces and Indian Coast Guard in the Stati on, joined along to pay respects at the War Memorial. Kargil War heroes, vet erans and Veernaris of Dakshin Bharat Area also paid respects to the fallen he roes by laying wreaths. Hon’ble Gover nor Shri RN Ravi interacted with the K argil War heroes, veterans and veern aris after the solemn ceremony. NCC st udents also attended the event to celeb rate the victory of the Armed forces.
