Movie Review-;
The strange men who kept women locked up in the house had already changed in the last two generations. Gone are the days when women were taught grammar, and the grammar for innovative women has been taught in the past generation. But is this alone enough? This film tells that women should decide about their desires and need s.Kitty, a Muslim elder who believes in traditional morality, brings up her daughter Aishwarya Rajesh in the same way and marries her to Jitan Ramesh, and everyone lives as a joint family.
Having three children, Jitan Ramesh has no education or professional training, so the family is struggling in pove rty to take care of Kitty’s cobbler shop.In this case, the first obstacle to Aishwarya Rajesh’s decision to go to wor k comes from her father. The story of this film is about how the consequences shake the family when he decides to remove that obstacle and go to work. Aishwarya Rajesh, a Muslim woman from a middle-class family, decides to go to work to supplement the family income when her husband Jitan Ramesh’s sandal business is not going we ll.
Accordingly, Aishwarya Rajesh, who joins a call center, begins to improve her family’s economic status. Meanw hile, his child needs surgery. Aishwarya Rajesh decides to work in another department in her company where sh e gets three times the incentive to pay off the loan. Aishwarya Rajesh, who works in that unit, has recovered fro m it only to get into trouble without even realizing it? Isn’t it? That is the rest of the story of ‘Farhana’. ‘Farhana’ Aishwarya Rajesh is an average Muslim family woman who lives with a strict Muslim father, a loving husband, th ree children and a sixth prayer in addition to five daily prayers.
Farhana, an educated woman, breaks her mental and family barriers and convinces her family to go to work to h elp the family who are struggling to pay for their children’s school uniforms and medical expenses. Farhana, who joins a customer call service job talking to customers for bank loans, sees a higher reward in another departmen t in her office and asks to be transferred there. It is only after he went there that he was forced to change it and it is a friendship call service called friendship call.Aishwarya Rajesh meets another voice in the midst of these peop le who feel lonely and who throw obscenities in the majority conversation to the faceless people who speak her feelings in a kind voice.
At some point, the person becomes Farhana’s regular caller, and Farhana, who develops a special bond with the person, invites the person to meet him in person. But due to an unfortunate incident that keeps happening, her ealizes his situation and changes his decision and continues his work. In this case, did Farhana meet the person who spoke on the phone? What is the status of Farhana who came to work after overcoming many problems like husband and family? They have added Sunpens to make it interesting. Aishwarya Rajesh’s performance as Farh ana, the Muslim girl-next-door who longs for the handbag-carrying woman who goes to work between a loving husband and a strict Muslim father, is superb!
Aishwarya Rajesh has come back with a high voltage performance of breaking the barriers and going to work, showing her bond with the collar like a teenage girl, knowing the person’s true intentions and not being able to share it with the family. His eyes are acting in half the scenes. Bouquets to Aishwarya Rajesh who responded to the sarcastic memes that she is acting in a film a week with her performance..!jJitan Ramesh as a Muslim husb and who reluctantly shows his love for his wife by dressing him in nice sandals as she goes to work.
Despite appearing as an innocent husband, he has gained attention after a long time by standing by his wife bey ond doubts.bSelvaraghavan is the biggest surprise entry for the fans! Selvaraghavan makes the audience fall in love with his voice acting in the first half, and what he does in the second half is the pinnacle! Selva Mrity scored his first film as an actor and he will be coming for another round as the ideal meme content character of the netiz ens. The young man who is emotional after listening to Selvaragavan’s verses and scoring them, tracks the call an d gets applause. Kittu as the strict father, Aishwarya Dutta as the free-spirited modern woman, Anumol as the comforting friend have all done their roles perfectly.
The second half is the polar opposite of the first half which reminds of Lakshmi short film and makes the fans la ugh out loud. Manushyaputran – Shankar Das – Nelson’s combination of dialogue s is impressive. Especially the fi rst stanza verses where Selvaraghavan sprinkles pick up lines is a great strength. The scene where Jitan tells Ra mesh Farhana that “an educated woman should be proud to go to work” and the scene where the shop girl next door gives advice to Kittu’s strict father is toxic! Justin Prabhakaran’s music complements the film by being poe ic in the first half and adding strength to the chase scenes in the second half.
The second half, which travels directly opposite to the first half, gives the impression of watching two different films, but the momentum continues till the end.Although there are some stereotypical scenes like the ‘Boy’ with forehead, the ‘Boy’ who smokes, the Muslim woman who does not use a cell phone, it is a comforting thing that a Tamil commercial film has been released after a long time without portraying Muslims as terrorists or aliens.Hat s off to director Nelson Venkatesan for his mature handling of a commercial story around a Muslim woman going to work in an environment where the Islamic background is a thorn in the side.
