MOVIE Review-;

Sakunthalam is an epic love story based on the play Abhinanasakunthalam by the Indian poet Kalidasa. It con tains the story of Shakuntala, which is narrated in a very dramatic manner. Gunasekar has attempted to retell the epic love story of Sakundala and King Dushyant in Sakundala. Talking about the film, Shakuntala is the da ughter of Apsara Menaka and Sage Vishwamitra. However, Maneka had to give up her daughter soon after she gave birth. Shakuntala was taken under his wing by sage Kanva. Shakuntala grows up as a beautiful maiden in the Kanwa ashram. Everyone loves her.

When King Dushyant comes across the ashram, he meets Shakuntala and they fall in love. They immediately ma rry and consummate their marriage according to Gandharva marriage. However, due to the war, Dushyant had to leave. He promises to come back and take her one day. The twist comes when Shakuntala is cursed by an angr y sage. How their love stands the test of time, and the curse forms the rest of the story.One of the famous po ems of Kalidasa has been shown in this film. The dreamlike romance between Sakundala (Samantha) and Dush yant (Dev Mohan) and the battle scenes are shown in a grand manner.

The scene where Dushyant saves a village from animals including tigers has also been amazingly shown in CGI. After that in the beautiful forest butterflies fly, peacocks dance, Shakuntala and Dushyant are shown making lo ve among the flowers. Director Gunasekar takes us to that world and makes us enjoy it.Can’t fault the grandeur. The visuals, VFX, art design and cinematography are awe-inspiring but the way the story is told is a bit disappoin ting. Manisharma’s music is the backbone of the film.Samantha is very beautiful. Realizing his character, he has gi ven excellent performance in every scene.

Dev Mohan stands out as a righteous king, fearless warrior and lover.Samantha is the leading actress in the wor ld of South Indian cinema today. He used to act in character roles first. She made her debut in the year 2010 as a heroine in the movie “Bana Kathadi” and since then she has been acting in good stories and her success percent age is increasing day by day.Having seen success all over South India, she fell in love with Naga Chaitanya and got married. The couple who were enjoying life for four years got divorced due to some disagreements. After that, S amantha, who thought that cinema is everything, continues to act in glamor dance and solo stories in films.

Recently, actress Samantha starrer Yashoda was a huge success and next she is acting in films like Sagunthalam a nd Kushi, the first of which Sagunthalam will be released on the 14th.This movie is produced by Dil Raji.. Gunase kar is directing the movie and the team is confident that the movie will be a success. In this situation, the premi ere of the movie was screened for the fans while Sagunthalam is four days away from its release.Dev Mohan has acted effectively in action scenes as well as romantic scenes. Madhubala’s brief appearance as Maneka attracts fans. Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha impresses with her cute performance.

For the visuals, Sagunthalam should be seen in theaters. Sagunthalam has been released in Tamil, Malayalam, K annada and Hindi languages apart from Telugu. Shakunthala – Dushyanda’s love story is released with today’s m odern actors acting in the movie ‘Sagunthalam’.Sagunthalam starring Samantha and Dev Mohan in the lead roles, based on the epic saga Abhinjana Sagunthalam written by Kalidasar, has hit the theaters today.Inspired by Men agai who danced to dispel sage Vishwamitra’s penance, Vishwamitra’s cohabitation resulted in the child Shakun tala (Samantha).

Knowing that Menaka was sent by Indra to perform his penance, Vishwamitra leaves their newborn child Sakun thalai near the ashram of Sage Kanva to leave Menaka.There, Shakuntala, who is named Sakuntala and grows up without knowing the outside world, falls in love with the king of Hastinapura, Dushyanthan (Dev Mohan), who u nexpectedly visits the ashram, marries him as a Gandharva, and becomes the mother of his child. Dushyantha, w ho promises to go to his kingdom and marry Sakuntala to everyone, is forced to forget all about Sakuntala by the curse given by sage Durvasa, what happens after that?

The rest of the story is whether Shakuntala and Dushyanthan are reunited!Samantha as Sakunthalai. Samantha gives us an intro surrounded by butterflies and flowers, makes friends with tigers, peacocks, deer, rabbits and tr ees, runs in the forest with Dushyanthan and makes us fall in love.In the second half, he expresses all the emotio ns like grief, frustration and anger and puts the audience together with the film. Samantha has scored brilliantly by emoting like the 60s heroines in the close-up scenes as well.Dev Mohan as Dushyanthan who falls in love whe n he sees Shakuntala. This is the next film of Dev Mohan who impressed us as Sufi.

Dushyantha Maharaja fits the role. But could have acted a bit better.Actress Aditi Balan is Samantha’s friend. He helps us by explaining to the viewers the legend that goes from story to story like story within story, pre-story, b ack story.Apart from them, Sachin Gethekar as the doting foster father, Kanva Maharishi, Mohan Babu as the gr umpy Durvasa sage, and Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha help the story flow of the film. But Gauthami and Praka sh Raj, who play the role of foster mothers, simply come and go in the film.The songs are attention-grabbing in th e music of Manisarma, and the background music gives the feeling of watching a television drama.

The story is carried over in the first half quite interestingly, especially the romantic scenes, the chemistry betwe en Samantha and Dev Mohan adds strength to the film. Like Tiger, Deer, Rabbit, Peacock, Vfex has all the featur es that attract children.But the second half of Javvena drags, the sadness that surpasses the serials, the situation of Samantha who faces only grief since she fell in love, we get the feeling that we are watching some Hindi dubb ing serial for a long time and get bored. While the Himalayan and ashram scenes are cool, the VFX scenes are not as advertised.If you are a fan of TV mythological serials, people who have grown up watching films like Kabhute Khan Kanda Deivam, Manalane Mangaiyin Pakhyam, Satyawan – Savitri, then you will definitely enjoy this movie.

This IS MY Personal Review So Please Go And Watch The Movie In Theaters Only
