Story-;
At the beginning of the story, a foreign woman is making a documentary about the murders happening here in Ta milnadu, people are all giving their opinion, and while making the documentary, she gets to know about the four lovers and the brutality that happened to them. Those four pairs of lovers are separated by their parents or by a certain caste, and then they are killed, so this film is about the love of these four couples and the pain they experi ence because of that love.This story is directed by debutant director Sukumar Alakarsamy

Auto driver Ramakrishnan and Vaishnavi Raj help reporter Cynthia from America to shoot a documentary about the murders in Tamil Nadu. They investigate various murders in Tamil Nadu and their background and interview the people involved and face various objections. Meanwhile, a romantic couple shelters Cynthia’s crew. But did the love couple escape from their murderous pursuit by their parents? Didn’t Cynthia make a documentary abo ut the murders? Isn’t it? That is the rest of the story of the film. That is the rest of the story of the film.They have made the film based on the inc idents of murders in Tamil Nadu, and at the same time adding fictional stories to whip the caste fanatics.Cynthia Lourdes, who has produced the film, plays the main role of a reporter. He has expressed his anger towards the so ciety very nicely in the scenes where he gets angry after learning about caste discrimination and murders and in the scenes where he advises not to see caste discrimination.
Ramakrishnan, who plays both the villain and the hero, has done his job flawlessly. A victim of caste discrimina ti on, who has gracefully played the role of a caste aloof, the caste-obsessed character is menacing in villainy.Vaish navi Raj, who plays the female lead, raises questions about caste division and Brahmin rituals and ceremonies to applause.Bigg Boss Aamir, Sriram Karthik, Vishnu Bala, Guhashini, Nimi Manuel, Vasudevan, Vandana, Uma Mah eshwari, reporter AP Ratnavel who played the role of Annan, all the actors in the film are suitable for the role an d have acted elegantly.
Praveena’s cinematography beautifully captures the beauty of the village and the bruta li ty of the murders that take place there. Praveena’s camera, which travels according to the story, has also succe eded in conveying the emotions of the characters to the audience.Deepan Chakraborty’s music, songs and back ground music travel along with the story.
Written and directed by Sukumar Alagarswamy, he sheds light on the caste killings that took place in the society and what really happened behind it. Director Sukumar Alagarswamy, who has emphasized how the society arou nd them upholds the caste division even if the parents accept caste-rejecting love marriages, has also admitted t hat no matter how many revolutionaries come, the caste problem will not go away.Although there are many sta rs, the director has told the story in a very elegant and natural manner, using all of them in moderation. All in all, ‘Varnasramam’ is a whip for caste fanatics
