Protagonist Michael {Sandeep Kishan} comes to Mumbai at the age of 13 in search of his father who murdered hi s mother. Michael wanders in search of his father in Mumbai and somehow finds his father. Michael, who goes kn ife-in-hand to get his father for cheating on his mother, meets Mumbai don Gurunath {Gautham Menon}.Mean w hile, a person comes to kill Gautham Menon. Michael saves Gautham Menon from the man who is coming to kill him, and subsequently grows up under Gautham Menon’s protection. After a few years, a few key points come to gether and execute a plan to kill the great Don Gautham Menon.Gautham Menon, who gets caught up in this int rigue, is once again rescued by the adolescent protagonist Michael.
Michael, who later becomes one of Gauth am Menon’s trusted henchmen, takes care of an area controlled by Ga utham Menon. Gautham Menon captures 5 people out of the 6 main points he had planned to take. Gautham Me non entrusts the responsibility to Michael to kill the 6th person who is Pinchi and his daughter.Accordingly, whe n Michael leaves for Delhi and follows the 6th person’s daughter, Michael falls in love with the girl. Thus he leave s the girl and the girl’s father untouched. Gautham Menon’s son lifts Michael, the girl and the girl’s father as serv ants.Michael, the protagonist, who is he avily defeated and unable to do anything, is shot and thrown into the wa ter. This story takes place in Bombay in the 1990s. Michael (Sandeep Kishan) was born and brought up in a prison an d enters Mumbai to kill his father. When a man is about to kill Gururaj (Gautham Vasudev Menon), the king of th e criminal empire in Bombay, Michael stops him and saves Gururaj and becomes very close to him. Gururaj kills f our of his conspirators, but persuades Michael to kill the fifth, Ratan (Anish Kuruvilla), and his daughter Tira (Di vyansha Kaushik). Michael goes to Delhi to kill them and first befriends Teera and falls in love with her. Because of Michael’s closeness to Tira, Ratan leaves him without killing him even if he is found. At the same time, a conspi racy hatched by Gururaj’s son (Varun Sandesh) comes to light. What is his plot? What did Gururaj do to Michael who left Ratan unkilled? Did Michael find his father and kill him?

That is the rest of the story of the film.Sandeep Kishan, who plays the lead role, has worked har d for the film. And he threatens in every action scene. Kudos for that. Also, the heroine Divyansha Kaushik, who is one of the important aspects of the story, has acted flawlessly.Gautham Menon, who plays the villain, shakes the bar. Vijay Sethupathi who comes in a cameo role has set the story strong. However, Varalakshmi Sarathkum ar has done what she can in the role.
Ayyappa B. Both Sharma and Anushya Bharadwaj’s performances are okay. Otherwise everyone fits their charac ters perfectly.Baka is a romantic action story taken by director Ranjith Jayakodi. However, it has suffered a sligh t slippage in the way it was designed. Yes, the screenplay lacks momentum. There may be fight scenes in the film, but it is only in the fight scenes that the film should be searched for.While the build up everyone else gives for th e hero is strong, the hero’s character is not strong enough to match that build up. This is the biggest minus point for the film. Many scenes that should not have been applauded have gone awry. But the unexpected twist at the end takes the film to the second part.Cinematography is strong for the film. Sam C.S. Songs are not taken. But the background music is super. Editing is ok.
