Story-;
Kannayiram, a self-proclaimed, unassuming private detective with sleeplessness issue, grieving for his mother’s death, forcefully stays in his native village for the asset dispute of his family heirloom. Aadhirai, a documentary filmmaker who visits the village for her Project work meets Kannayiram for her interview. Aadhirai gives infor m ation about the increasing number of unidentified dead bodies found in and around Coimbatore region. Kan na yiram takes up this case to prove his calibre.Santhanam is a comedian who is now a hero in Tamil cinema. He is cu rrently acting in ‘Agent Kannayiram’, the Tamil remake of Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, which was released in Tel ugu starring Naveen Polishetty. Is the film a joke? Thriller? Let’s buy it.. Actor Santhanam (Kannayiram) as a sm all-time agent suffering from personal loss, is tasked with unearthing a mysterious case of unclaimed dead bod ies. Santhanam (Kannayiram) is the child of zamindar Guru Somasundaram – Hindumati. But his father abandons his mother without marrying him. His father already has a family and abandons them.
Kannaira and his mother are servants to his father’s family. Santhanam and his mother have faced many humili ations since childhood. The zamindar’s first wife and her sons keep humiliating them. Santhanam (Kannayiram), who lives alone in the city because of his childhood anger at his mother at one point, is initially a detective who finds out the small mistakes that happen in the village. With the help of his friend who is a journalist, Santhanam discovers the crimes that are happening here and there. But he aspires to be a famous detective. On hearing the news of his mother’s death, he leaves for his native village in Coimbatore. With no money in his hand to even go to town, he comes by asking for a lift in a lorry and feels guilty for not being able to see his mother at least one last time. A thousand eyes. Then Santhanam gets a mysterious railway case through a friend. He investigates the orphan corpses continuously lying on the side of the railway tracks. Is Santhanam finally as famous as he aspired to be? Did you find that train track case? Who is killing? That is the interesting part of the film.

That is the interesting part of the film. The way director Manoj Peetha takes the plot is very different. Santhanam’s acting, comedy, action and se ntiment are all excellent in the film. And it’s another odd performance from the actor who worked hard to get his role right.I don’t know what he’s getting fame for in the film. Riya Suman is a pivotal character and plays a pivotal role in the film, though she doesn’t show her best acting skills. He plays an important role in helping the film prog ress. Munishkanth and Pugach’s timing comedies attract the attention of the fans.
Yuvan’s music adds more vibrancy to the film, the technical music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja is sure to me smerize the audience. That is the plus point. All in all, Agent Kannayiram, it tries to take us on a thrill ride. But ev en if there are no big expectations let’s see the new Santhanam with an amazing performance by Santhanam. Ev ery fan has different taste. Screen criticism cannot measure a film. Fans who have seen the film are co mmenting that they will see the new Santhanam and the film is moving slowly. The film has received mixed reviews among fans.
