Movie Review-;
Thiruchitrambalam (Dhanush) is a food delivery boy leading a boring, mechanical and routine life. He loses his mother and sister in an accident, while his father (Prakash Raj) and he managed to survive. His grandfather (Bh arathiraja) takes care of them and all the three keep fighting. So basically, there’s no peace at home. Thiru’s fri en d Shobana (Nithya Menen) is the only solace he has. They share a great bond and have each other’s back al wa ys. Thiru falls in love with Anusha (Raashii Khanna) his childhood crush, but she rejects his proposal. All of a sudden, Thiru’s father suffers a heart stroke but gets paralysed. While Thiru is struggling to cope up with the tragedies of his life, good things start happening to him, bringing light into his life. But you got to watch it on the big screen to find out what it is. The best part of the film is Dhanush and his bond with Nithya.
These two have nailed their acting. You will see them together in almost every scene. Their friendship since chil dhood is the best example of why the friendship between a boy and girl is the best. Nithya Menen has given one of her career’s best performances in this film. Dhanush is a natural actor. Watching him on screen is just a delig ht. Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen for a few minutes on screen. She doesn’t have much to do in the plot. Even Raashii Khanna doesn’t have a lot to offer. One song and a few minutes of onscreen presence are all she gets. But both Raashii and Priya mean a lot to Thiru. The second half is shot very well. The director took the entire time to develop the story, humour and bond between Thiru and Shobana. Their story is just beautiful.The director has wr itten the story in a beautiful way. He has pictured the emotions well. It’s a little slow in different parts but is enjo yable. The narration should have been a little faster to enjoy the story.
But in the end, the performances of the lead actors make things better for the audiences. Prakash Raj and Bhar athiraja aced their roles and added soul to the flick. Watching Bharatiraja’s dance, getting emotional on various scenes and always having Thiru’s back is something every youngster wants who has grandparents .Anir udh’s m usic is one of the assets of the film. DOP Om Prakash’s camera work is applause-worthy. hiruchitrambalam is w orth watching for all the right reasons, and especially for Dhanush and Nithya Menen. And when it comes to the second half.. the story goes on with various variations. Although the love track with Priya Bhavani is brief, it do esn’t seem to help the film much. Nithya Menon (Shobhana), Dhanush (Thiru) love track seems very routine. Mo vies like Pawan Kalyan Tammudu, Tholiprema, Siddharth O My Friend come to mind. It seems that the father and son’s conflict and emotions were not used much in the second half. In the climax everything goes as expected an d ends up being routine and regular.
Dhanush, Nithya Menon Performance Dhanushku Pinde played roles like Thiru. As usual he carried the story on his shoulders gracefully without much effort. In the story, the episodes between the father and the son have be en wonderfully cultivated emotions. Love track with three heroines as usual. Bharti Raja acted opposite Prakash Raj. Nithya Menon, as always, has portrayed a character with many different shades. Nitya Menon gives an emo tional performance in the climax. Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar appeared in roles without much sc ope. Bharathiraja’s character impresses everyone. About Technical Aspects When it comes to the performance of technical departments. Director Mithran R Jawahar has written a strong father-son bond in a routine, regular story. But the novel scenes written by Darvakudu, the scenes which have already been seen in many movies, are not very impressive. And the cinematography provided by Om Prakash is the same.
The songs by Anirudh Ravichander seem to be okay, otherwise the background score is impressive. Sun Pictures means quality values are high. But this movie seems to be poorly made. As for the finale.. The film Thiru is based on the bond between father and son, and the story of a young man searching for love. This movie was made by tr usting the middle class family background and the emotions between the characters. Being a novel story, it fails to impress much. Rather than a theatrical release, it would have been appropriate for this film if it had been rele ased on OTT. Dhanush, Nithya Menon and Prakash Raj’s performances are the feel good elements of this movie. Fans of these three are likely to like this movie. Those who want to experience a movie in a theater can try it on ce. Plus Points Actors Performance Background Score Minus Points Routine, Regular Story Fast Off Very Slow Songs Story, Screenply
