12 July 2021 Kanyakumari THE 1971 VICTORY FLAME REACHES KANYAKUMARI
SOUTHERN TIP OF PENINSULAR INDIA
The Victory Flame reached Kanyakumari, the southern tip of peninsular India, yesterday evening on July 11, 2021. Veterans were invited and honoured in the presence of district civil administration. Corporal Michael Antony(retd) shared his experience in the 1971 war. The event was organized by Indian Naval Station (INS), Ka ttabomman, adhering to all COVID protocols.

The Golden Jubilee celebrations to commemorate the victory of the Indian Armed Forces in the 1971 war commenced in December last year.
