Story-;
This film is about the ego battle between the hero and heroine of the story. Manju is a private school teacher. Sh e is a person who helps others, admits mistakes, and operates with independent thinking. Her husband Ram runs a private company. Many people work for him. They have an only school going daughter. The protagonist is a ma no bhava who sees everything as material and insensible objects. The heroine is the one who believes that the mi nd, feelings, and thoughts are all connected to the internal organs. In short, she is the one who sees a human bei ng as a pile of feelings, in direct contrast to her husband who sees a person as a body. Her belief is that men and women are as separate in character as they are in sex. Often the conversations that happen between them turn into criticism, debate, and conflict of opinion. However, they are living according to their nature and tendency. One Saturday morning Manju went to work at school and did not reach home till 10 pm.
The protagonist, his mother, the accompanying aunt and the child all get nervous. The man searches outside with his friend. There is no suitable answer anywhere. The family becomes agitated. Sunday morning. After dawn, Ma nju reaches home. Where did she go last night? That is the question facing the family. But the question “Where di d you go last night?” When her husband asks angrily, she says, “Do you want to know where I went at night? Or d o you want to know what happened?”. She doesn’t just give a direct answer, but she does something as her heart thinks. Her ego raises her head and asks what she should say, and a conflict erupts. What is the conclusion is the path of the story of ‘Aval Pradhan 2’.

MOVIE Review-;
Film college student Rudrayya directed the film ‘AVAL APPADITHAN released in 1978. The film instilled the fre edom of thinking that a woman is independent of anyone’s expectations and metaphorical design. The continua tion of the same thought is the film that came out in 2023, AVAL APPADITHAN 2 .Manju is a private school teach er. She is a person who helps others, admits mistakes, and operates with independent thinking. Such a Manju did not come home one night.The patriarchal husband searches for her all night and the family is missing Manju.Nex t morning she comes home. “Where did you go last night..?”
She couldn’t answer her husband’s stern question – rather she didn’t want to answer.She did not answer the que stion until finally she realized that the question was being asked on a patriarchal basis rather than out of concern for her.Both men and women have separate private parts. Intimacy is very sacred. Manju’s character, who thinks that there is no need to share it even though he is a husband, is the crux of this film.Most of the story takes place inside a house, with some exterior scenes shown while searching for Manju. The director has moved the scenes s o that we do not feel this while the story is happening.
From the beginning of the film, without showing Manju’s face, the scenes come to feel Manju’s character while searching for Manju after she goes missing. Through that we can know what kind of Manju she is. The director has explained this through related scenes instead of explaining it separately.Then the director shows us her face only when she comes home the next morning.Through this we can realize what her character is and put it on her face.A story that says that feminism is not the opposite of men and that our country’s culture is wrong to put po wer over women to protect the interests of the family and children.The verses are sharp.
Discussions between husbands and wives are also meaningful. “Where did you go last night?” Manju’s response to a single question was, “You too have not come home for many nights. I never heard anything from you..!” It is fair to say no.But I don’t think there is any justification for Manju to have a mother-in-law to cook at home and only go to work and do what she likes.It is ridiculous that Manju doesn’t even realize how much a family would suffer if a girl goes missing at night, especially in this environment where crimes against women are on the rise. Especially the child “Where is mother..?” When she asks, the family is distressed as they cannot answer her.
At least I won’t come tonight. She could have at least answered them by saying ‘I will come in the morning’.It se ems that the actors in the film have acted with some kind of theatrical character. We can still be together in this film if it is normalSneha Parthiparaja’s appearance, body language and facial expressions, who has taken on the role of Manju as the heroine of the story, suggest that Manju is like this.Abu Tahir, who comes as Manju’s husba nd, naturally expresses the feelings of a middle-aged husband with a tight and stern face.Manjuwal, who has a habit of calling her husband “Daddy…” at the beginning of the film, makes her husband suspect that he is her fa ther.
Rajeshwari who plays the mother of the husband Ram, Anita Sri who plays the mother of the wife Manju, Sumitr a who plays Achi, the daughter Karthika, the father of Manju and the director Venkataramanan have also done the work given to them to the best of their ability. The director also did not expect more from the m.Cinematogr apher Veda Selvam has delivered a satisfying cinematography as per the producer’s budget and director’s vision.
Music composer Arvind Siddharth has composed the music for this film which has no songs to suit the nature of the story and without any background noise. Especially the harmonies of the violin that he reveals add tension to the scenes.It is understood that the film was shot with the sole aim of being economical.The director’s dream would have come true with this film if the scenes were interesting and the acting was perfect.This can be accep ted at the level of ‘this film is like this…’.
